About Me: "Hate and love are two powerful emotions, and you are sure to feel them both when you listen to my music", Mota wisely asserts as he explains his mission in the rap game. "I wanna make a change around the world, one day open up hospitals and schools. I want to have something to be proud about when the day comes I meet God face to face". By staying true to himself and on the grind, this country boy Mexican has earned the respect of thousands of fans throughout Florida. From socially conscious songs like Secret- that talk about a young girl getting raped by her dad, to aggressive songs like Refuse To- that talk about keeping his name out your mouth, Mota makes you want to both love and kill him.

"I get phone calls and myspace messages from people saying that my music has given them strength to get through their problems. I'm an honest guy I can't rap about lies, I rap about the struggle- as seen through my eyes a young Mexican from south Florida. Alot of people are surprised when I tell them I'm Mexican, they tell me I don't sound like a Mexican rapper. I’m not a Mexican rapper, I’m a rapper that happens to be Mexican. I have White fans, Black fans, Mexican fans, dope dealers, prep-school kids, all kinds of people that love my music". Whatever the case this Florida born grinder has earned his spot. "I'm a quadruple threat, I'm a rapper, producer, engineer, and C.E.O of my own record label and graphic company Platinum Life Records and Graphics. I'm Florida's #1 grinder, if I can come from a small country town called Clewiston to creating a name for myself throughout Florida all by myself from street promotions to radio, retail and everything in between, then I deserve the title Florida's #1 grinder. There's alot of artist that live in Orlando, Miami, Palm Beach, Jacksonville, ect, in the city and can't get half the recognition I've gotten, and I live an hour and a half away from any major city. I’m a country boy”.

This country boy chico is on the move. He has recorded and produced over 100 original songs, released an album and three mixtapes, broken in to radio via Palm Beach’s X102.3, Miami 99 Jamz and countless underground stations throughout Florida and received over 60,000 downloads for his song Secret on the internet and is gaining momentum with his new record Refuse To. He has been on his grind professionally for 5 years, but has been doing music for 12. “I’ve seen Florida rise in the last 3 years, I’ve seen Rick Ross hustling before the Everyday I’m Hustling record ever hit the streets handing out his own cds, I’ve been out on the streets promoting my own records right next to Florida hustlers like E-Class, I’ve seen Plies rise to power in Florida. I’ve seen my boy Gold Ru$h go from local producer to being featured on Trick Daddy’s Bet That record and producing half of Tricks album. I’m next it’s all about timing I knew those people were going to blow before they blew and I was right, so I’m right about me, I’m next to blow, believe it”.

With his zombie like work ethic and blunt honesty, Mota has touched the souls of thousands of people throughout Florida. “I’m a struggler, all my life I had to work three times as hard for mine, shit never comes easy for me. I’m like the muthafucking underdog. That’s cool cause it just makes me grind harder”, Mota explains. “I’m an emotional person, when I’m sad I cry hard, when I’m happy I laugh hard, when I’m mad don’t fuck with me. Right now I’m all those things, this ever so changing world has made me this way, you got children dying from aids, wars over seas, and best friends dying cause of drugs, but on the flip side I’m about to be a dad, I’m still alive, and I’m healthy thanks to god. So I’m going to persevere, I have to for all the people that never got the chance to follow their dreams, it would be a diss to them if I didn’t go for mine”.
