About Me: Female rap artist, SMiFF, writes her own songs as well as performs them. Her first hot single “Candyland” (2008) took Hip Hop fans by surprise and set the stage for this musical talent to be heard by a wider audience. This proved to be a key move for SMiFF, as her unique voice and sound appealed to a wide range of listeners, which racked up a loyal fan base. Her remarkable popularity continued a year later with her much-awaited debut album, “Welcum 2 My Candyland” (2009), destined to spawn a number of trend-setting hit singles such as “Candyland”, “Bounce It”, “Wanna Get Down”, and “Can’t Sink”. This album has radio-ready singles but also an awesome array of album tracks (“U Ain’t Gotta Lie”, “P.Y.T. (Kinda Fly)”, “Fake”, “U See Me”, “Beyond”, “Don’t Stop”, “A Night To Remember”, and “Nobody Knows”) that showcases just how multitalented SMiFF is. Her album highlights a wide variety of diversity including Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, Rock/Alternative, Electronic, poetry, and singing.

She coined the phase, “Smart Minority in Full Flight” while in college where she wrote hooks and verses for other up & coming artists and performed her own lyrics live at DMV Hip Hop venues. Alysha Caple’s stage alter-ego was born and her name is SMiFF. Music has always been at the heart of her career. She is a producer, solo artist, songwriter, and performer poised to leave an indelible mark on the music industry. Her songs are included in BMI’s extensive catalog. Alysha took a leap of faith and started her own music production company, Full Flight Productions, LLC in 2008 offering recording, music publishing, and artist management.

SMiFF’s music is available for MP3 download at the following major retail sites: iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Rhapsody, and eMusic. Be sure to catch upcoming show stopping live performances and the much-anticipated “Bounce It” music video.
